Our portable forklifts are of the type Moffett M8 30.40
• Load capacity up to 3 tons
• 4-way system (unloading in narrow spaces or warehouses)
• 3 wheels powered (difficult unpaved areas are no problem)
• The portable forklift is allowed to drive on public roads
• Lifting height of 3,66 meters
• Super reach (reach mast + reach forks) => unload truck from one side
• Integrated side shift on the mast (time saving)
• Integrated fork adjuster (time saving)
• Thickness of forks: 5,8 cm
• Length of forks (fully extended): 2 m
• Net payload when forks are fully extended: max. 1,6 tons (in practice 2 tons is possible)
Of course, everything also depends on the size of the pallet. Should this just be pulled closer? Or is it 2 m? It is important to extend legs and extend mast.
It is NOT POSSIBLE to move a box of 2,2 tons and 2 m from the vehicle to the entrance of the warehouse. The lifting works but the Moffett cannot drive it.
2,2 ton box with 2m20 => load center 1m10 => 1,6 tons max.
